Old Rectory Gardens Peony Time

It is sometime since my last post,we have been in the South of France with the Historic Rose Society looking at wonderful gardens including  Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild & the Hanbury Botanical Gardens. I decided to stay a few extra days but the weather was similar to here dull and dreary. However everything has changed this week and our large collection of Peonies are bursting into flower every minute and I do not think I have ever seen them looking better, so HURRY HURRY they should continue to flower until the Jubilee Weekend. The Irises are also bursting into bloom and although I say it myself the Gardens have been transformed in the last few days of sun with the Yellow garden & white border both looking stunning. So come and enjoy the beauty.
